Annual Democratic Social

Some local democrats gathered together Wednesday night in support of their party.

The Muskingum County Women's Democrat Club hosted their annual ice cream social Wednesday evening at the VFW at the Sunrise Center.

"We bring local candidates also talk about our state and our national candidates. This is such a wonderful, epic year and we are so excited from the grass roots all the way up to Barack Obama. Its such a marvelous ticket, everybody is ready to gear up for the convention," says secretary of the Muskingum County Womens' Democrat Club, Amy Underwood.

Zanesville Mayor Butch Zwelling, State Representative for the 94th district Jennifer Stewart and Muskingum County Commissioner candidate Jerry Lavy were all in attendance at the social.
